AP PARTIAL KURFEW IMPOSED

VIJAYAWADA: A partial curfew from 12pm to 5am will be imposed in Andhra Pradesh from May 5 for 14 days to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had taken the decision after a review with officials of health department at his Tadepalli camp office on Monday.

The number of positive cases and deaths is rising following which the government has taken the decision to clamp the day curfew.

The shops and other establishments would be allowed to open only from 6am to 12pm for the next fortnight, the state government said.
